Gregory L. Wilde is Executive Vice President and President of Insurance Company Operations for Meadowbrook Insurance Group’s carrier subsidiaries: Star Insurance Company, Savers Property & Casualty Insurance Company, and American Indemnity Insurance Company. In this capacity, Mr. Wilde has direct oversight of Meadowbrook’s corporate claims and underwriting departments, and the Company’s regional branch operations. Mr. Wilde also serves as a member Meadowbrook’s Executive Committee.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Wilde served as Senior Vice President of Regional Branch Operations and was responsible for the oversight and direction of all Meadowbrook ’s branch offices.
He started his career in 1971 with Aetna Casualty & Surety Company. His assignments were in Aetna’s Bond Department and included underwriting production and management responsibilities.
His transition into the property/casualty business was accomplished with a rotation through Aetna’s home office, ultimately leading to Branch Manager/Regional Leadership roles in four of Aetna’s branch offices.
He joined Crum and Forester in 1996 as Regional Vice President and was responsible for the Michigan commercial regional office.
He is a graduate of Drake University and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. |
