Greg Best is a Principal with PRAXIS Partners LLC, a Richmond-based executive search and management consulting firm founded in 1994. He joins Dave DeBaugh, SPHR, CMC, and Don Pliszka, both partners since the firm's inception. Greg's focus is executive-level search and management consulting directed toward positively impacting a client's revenues and net income through refining sales, customer service & relationship management, marketing, product development and product line management activities. Best also leads and develops the marketing, sales and communications for PRAXIS.
An accomplished sales, marketing, and business leader for 19 years, Greg had previously held domestic and international leadership positions with Honeywell International, GE Silicones, Berkshire-Hathaway Group, and Owens-Corning Fiberglas. His marketing and sales experience has been in the following industries: industrial high-performance fibers, building & construction materials, sealants & adhesives, high-performance coatings, rubber compounds, plastic additives, and specialty chemicals. Coaching, mentoring, and helping organizations to deliver sales and marketing excellence will continue to be a focus for him in his new role as a partner with PRAXIS.
Greg is a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma methodology. He is an accomplished trainer in selling skills & techniques, with strong competencies in key account management, global product planning, market and product development, sales and distribution channel recruitment, lead generation, change management, and strategic planning. Greg earned his BS degree in Business from Baker University, Baldwin, Kansas and pursued his MBA coursework through Rockhurst College in Kansas City.
