Gregory C. Vlasak currently serves as a Senior Consultant in the Seattle office of Duff & Phelps LLC. Mr. Vlasak has over twenty years of experience with Duff & Phelps working principally in the Chicago office where he was one of the firm's senior officers. Prior to rejoining Duff & Phelps in 2003, Mr. Vlasak was a Senior Consultant with Brueggeman & Johnson, P.C. in Seattle.
Over the previous twenty-five years, Mr. Vlasak has provided valuation services on many entities including closely held stock interests, corporate divisions and subsidiaries, and partnership interests. These have been performed for various purposes including mergers, divestitures, acquisitions, and shareholder buyouts. Furthermore, Mr. Vlasak has substantial experience in gift and estate tax matters. He has also provided expert witness testimony in federal and state courts as well as the Chancery Court of Delaware.
Mr. Vlasak's experience includes sell side advisory and related middle market investment banking activities, and in rendering fairness and solvency opinions. Additionally, Mr. Vlasak has been engaged to provide valuation services to corporations in numerous foreign jurisdictions including Japan, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Vlasak holds both a B.A. degree in economics and a M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Vlasak holds a M. Sc. Degree in Economics from the University of London's London School of Economics. He is also a CFA. |
