Greg is the President of FirstMerit Advisors, and its wholly owned subsidiary, FirstMerit Insurance Group. He is responsible for the delivery of individual and corporate planning services through FirstMerit’s Private Client Services, including:
Financial Planning
Estate and Business Succession Planning
Executive Compensation Planning
Non-Qualified Benefit Planning
Greg has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry specializing in individual and corporate planning as well as non-qualified benefit plan design, implementation, and administration. He has worked with many private, public and non-profit corporations in addressing their executive benefit issues. He is frequently asked to consult with a number of major corporations in designing or reviewing their executive benefits programs, as well as to consult with other financial services companies who have used his expertise in designing their specialty financial products for corporate markets.
In addition, through FirstMerit Insurance Group, Greg has responsibility for delivering advanced insurance solutions to high net worth individuals and corporate clients. He is an active member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), the premier group of insurance professionals.
Greg received his BA degree in Business and Industrial Psychology from Miami University. He is a member of the Northwest Summit County Rotary Club and University. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Vice Chairman of the Akron Community Foundation, Treasurer of the Great Trail Council of Boy Scouts of America and Summit County Campaign Chair for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. |
