Mr. Nalbandian joined NorthMarq Capital in August 2005 and is currently a vice president and producer in the Northern New Jersey Regional office. He is currently responsible for expanding the origination of commercial loans in the New York metropolitan area. Mr. Nalbandian began his career in real estate as a commercial appraiser in 1994. After four years in the appraisal field, Mr. Nalbandian became a Senior Portfolio Analyst at O’Connor Capital Partners in New York, where he was directly involved with the management of a $1.5 billion portfolio of domestic & international investments with the Argo & Peabody opportunistic funds. Immediately prior to joining NorthMarq, Mr. Nalbandian was Principal and Group Leader of the Real Estate Financial Services Division of The Schonbraun McCann Group, a leading national real estate advisory firm. His responsibilities included new business development and overseeing a team of ten senior managers and analysts who performed financial due diligence, underwriting and strategic consulting services for various REITs, private equity funds, and regional real estate firms. Mr. Nalbandian earned an MS in Real Estate from New York University and a BA from the University of Michigan. |
