Greg Means has been involved in Washington politics since the early 1980's when he first worked on Capitol Hill. During his eight-year tenure on the Hill he served as Chief of Staff for Congressman Dennis E. Eckart (D-OH) a member of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee. Mr. Means also served as the Staff Director for the House Small Business Subcommittee on Deregulation and Privatization and has an extensive knowledge of energy environment telecommunications and federal appropriations issues.
In addition to his Capitol Hill experience Mr. Means has managed and consulted for successful House campaigns in several states including Ohio and Arkansas (his native state). He has also been featured in Campaign magazine for his distinguished campaign work.
Prior to co-founding Alpine Group Inc. he created Greg Means and Associates an independent progressive consulting firm providing strategic and tactical political advice to various clients. This firm was acquired by R. Duffy Wall and Associates where Mr. Means later served as Vice President. |
