Greg Beadles heads into his 13th season with the Falcons in 2007.
In addition to overseeing all financial operations of the club, Beadles is also involved in business negotiations, strategic planning and development for the organization. He serves as one of the team's primary liaisons with the stadium authority and has overseen the Dome renovation project the team embarked upon this past offseason.
Beadles joined the Falcons in 1995 for a 10-week internship in the finance department. He later served as Controller of the Falcon Inn & Conference Center until 1998. He then held the position of Senior Accountant with the club until being promoted to Director of Finance for the 2000-2001 seasons. Owner & CEO Arthur Blank promoted Beadles to Vice President - Finance shortly after purchasing the Falcons in 2002 and he added the CFO title after the 2003 season.
In addition to his financial responsibilities, Beadles has enjoyed being involved in a number of other areas of the organization on game days over the years as a member of the stats crew, video department assistant, and tracking player participation. He was a member of the team that launched AtlantaFalcons.com website in 1996 and started the club's successful online store in 1997.
The son of a coach, Greg grew up drawing Xs and Os, traveling on road trips and making recruiting visits with his father, who has been a head coach in the college basketball ranks for nearly 40 years. Beadles played a number of sports in his youth, including a freshman year of small college basketball before transferring to Louisiana State University to focus on a career in business.
Beadles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from LSU in 1991 and a Master of Science degree in sports administration from Georgia State University in 1995.
The 38 year-old holds a CPA license from the state of Georgia. His experience in the business world began with a public accounting firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana followed by two years as an international staff accountant with Offshore Pipelines, Inc. in Houston, Texas.
Beadles' financial background also includes teaching a sports finance course for the graduate school at Georgia State from 1995-96. He remains a regular guest lecturer at GSU and other local institutions. He serves as a board member for the Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce and is co-founder and chairman of the board for Dominion Classical Christian Academy in Lawrenceville, GA.
