Graham Sharp is vice president and general manager of Avid’s Video division. Graham joined Avid in 2001 to lead sales, marketing and support operations for the Avid Video division in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and India. While serving in this capacity, Graham played an instrumental role in helping the Video division to more than double revenue and significantly improve gross margins across in these geographies.
Before joining Avid Technology in 2001, Sharp held the position of managing director at Post Impressions Ltd., a company formed in 1998 as the result of a management buyout from the hardware division of Discreet Logic. From 1996 to 1998, Sharp served in executive posts at Discreet, including the role of senior vice president, where he was responsible for the company’s worldwide sales, marketing, product management, and customer support operations.
Prior to Discreet, Sharp worked at Avid as a Regional Broadcast Manager in Asia, and also held sales roles at Tektronix, Alpha Image, and Dynatech. |
