Graham Mitchell brings to RBN over 10 years of senior management experience from the Australasian Telecommunication’s Carrier, Media and Pay TV Industry with 10 years of senior investment and corporate finance experience with large corporations. Prior to joining RBN, Graham was Group General Manager of AAPT’s Wholesale and Infrastructure Divisions. AAPT is Australia’s third largest telecommunications carrier. At AAPT, Graham lead a significant business turnaround which saw earnings and cash-flows increase by over 75% over a 18 month period and also drove the development of a complete IP strategy resulting in the creation of a leading edge IP product set. Prior to his role at AAPT, Graham was a senior executive at AAPT’s parent company Telecom New Zealand which is New Zealand’s largest Telecommunication’s Carrier, is NYSE listed and is the 14th largest company on the Australian Stock Exchange. Here, Graham was responsible for the $450m turnover Australian and New Zealand Internet and Media business which saw two years of consecutive double digit earnings growth together with substantial increases in market share in key markets under his leadership. Prior to this role, Graham held numerous senior management positions at Telecom NZ including head of Telecom NZ’s pay TV initiatives and General Manager of the PSTN Network. Telecom NZ had previously been owned by Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and Ameritech (now SBC). In his previous Investment and Corporate Finance roles, Graham was responsible for managing major investments in Australasia and the United States and was also involved in substantial capital raisings from North American and European capital markets. |
