F. Gordon Brandyburg is the Vice President of Product Management and Technical Services responsible for defining market and product requirements, analyzing industry factors, and providing insight for product marketing activities. He came to Optinuity in March 2007 as Director of Technical Services and began developing and training the team of technical consultants who provide Optinuity’s customers pre-sale technical support. His initiatives in building and leading the support and service team are bolstered by his acumen in translating customer requirements and needs into product features and professional services offerings. He has developed these skills during his 13-year career in the high tech industry.
Prior to Optinuity, Brandyburg rose to the position of Director of Product Assurance and Technical Services at Fluke Networks, formerly Visual Networks, a leading provider of performance management systems for wide-area data networks. At Fluke, he was involved in a variety of roles and had responsibilities including overseeing a $1.2 million budget, managing a large team of engineers, developing the firm’s professional services and technical support protocol, and interfacing with large service providers and enterprises to deliver custom solutions.
Early in his career, Brandyburg spent some time at Raytheon Systems as a test tool developer and software test engineer. His research credentials include his time as a student research fellow at Duke University’s Engineering Research Center, where he designed and developed biomedical systems.
Brandyburg holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering at Duke University and a Master’s degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University. |
