Dr. Bennett is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at the Crystal Clinic in Akron, OH. Dr. Bennett received his medical degree with distinction in 1982 from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine, Canada and went on to an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Akron General Medical Center / Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron followed by a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, TX. In private practice since 1989, Dr. Bennett has also served as the Team Orthopedic Surgeon for the British Columbia Lions Football Club. He is credited with over 60 publications and scientific presentations and is responsible for developing a number of Residency Education Lectures for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at Akron General Medical Center. Dr. Bennett is a known thought leader in the area of Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, and brings his depth of research and experience to the OrthoHelix Medical Advisory Board. |
