Gordon White serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Lansing, Michigan office. He is also Leader of DHR's Automotive Industry Sector of the Worldwide Industrial Practice. Mr. White possesses more than 15 years of senior management level experience within the automotive industry. He also has experience consulting with a variety of other manufacturing companies, as well as a number of health care organizations. Since joining the firm, Mr. White has worked with automotive supplier companies such as American Metalcraft, Bosch, Detroit Diesel, Durgham Industries, Delta Dental, Federal Forge, and Valeo. Prior to DHR, Mr. White was Principal of Glengarry Associates, a consulting practice which spanned the human resource spectrum, providing consulting support for various manufacturing concerns including Tower Automotive (where he served a year as an interim Vice President), Cade Industries, Durgham Machining and Federal Forge. He has also successfully completed a number of assignments outside the automotive industry with various organizations throughout the Midwest. Additionally, Mr. White has held various senior managerial positions within General Motors Corporation. These positions included Director of Human Resources for GM's Lansing Automotive Division; Director of Personnel and Public Relations for GM's Harrison Division; Director of Personnel for the Detroit Diesel Allison Division; Executive Compensation Administrator for GM's Corporate Staff; and Personnel Director, North American Operations for GM's Packard Electric Division. Mr. White received his BA in Economics from Colgate University. He also completed the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development. Mr. White serves on the Board of Directors of The Physician’s Review Organization of Michigan and The Capital Area Health Alliance. Gordon also Chairs the Worker’s Compensation Advisory Committee for the State of Michigan. Mr. White's outside interests include golf, skiing, and wine collecting. |
