Experience: Glenn is a senior partner within the Rockville, Maryland office of Goodman & Company, LLP and is currently the co-chairman of Goodman’s Construction Industry Specialization Group. Formerly, he co-founded Hollrah, Bernstein & Funkhouser, LLP ("HBF") which grew to rank within the 30 largest firms in the Washington DC area prior to its merger with Goodman & Company. Prior to HBF, he was a partner with a large regional public accounting firm and before that Glenn was a senior audit manager in the SEC practice of an international public accounting firm. Glenn has concentrated his practice within the construction and government contracting industries, having developed significant experience in providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to these clients. His recent experience has included:Supervision of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations of construction and government contractors. Advising clients on income tax matters, including tax planning and tax return preparation. Assisting clients with obtaining and negotiating surety credit and bank financing.Assisting with project claims and disputes including expert witness testimony. Advising clients on financial accounting issues; implementation of improved transaction process flow, and internal accounting control procedures. Design of budgeting and financial forecasting systems.Establishment of employee incentive plans and business continuity planning for closely held companies.
