Glen brings over 35 years of experience to IP Fabrics, including the experience of founding a successful company, RadiSys, in 1987 and serving as its Chairman and CEO for 15 years, during which time the company went public (1995), and had a record year (2000) of $341M in revenue and $33M in net income. Throughout his tenure at RadiSys, Glen was both the technical visionary and the business leader. He led the company through seven acquisitions, the last two in 2001 being software companies.
Prior to starting RadiSys in 1987, Glen spent six years at Intel and thirteen at IBM. Glen has a PhD in computer science from the Polytechnic Institute of New York, an MS in computer science from Syracuse University, and a BS in electrical engineering from Clarkson University. He is also the author of eight texts on computer architecture and software design, testing, and reliability.
Glen is Vice Chair of the Lawfully Authorized Electronic Surveillance subcommittee in ATIS, which produces the majority of the CALEA safe-harbor standards. |
