As Vice President and Director, Health and Benefit Business Programs, Giovanna Patterson oversees the delivery of services and solutions to clients across multiple federal agencies, including the Departments of Agriculture, Education, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, and Veterans Affairs; the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation; and the Social Security Administration. Services and solutions to these clients include bioinformatics, e-Government applications, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products integration, infrastructure operations, evaluation studies, enterprise architecture, and outsourcing.
Prior to her role as Director of the Health and Benefit Business Programs strategic business unit in SRA’s Civil Sector, Patterson supported the Sector as a technical director for all of the company’s civilian agency work. Her 20 years of information technology experience spans program management, technical leadership, subcontract management, software development, COTS products integration, computer security engineering, database engineering, and proposal management.
Prior to joining SRA, Patterson held several program and project leadership roles for TRW’s Systems & Information Technology group across its defense, intelligence, and civilian agency client base. Most notably, she led intelligence programs that entailed COTS and large-scale terabyte database systems integration. She also was involved in the accreditation of the first B2-level secure system for the U.S. Navy.
Patterson is a graduate of Virginia Tech and George Washington University. She is an active member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) and was a 2005 IAC Partner. |
