A managing director and one of the founders of the Brazilian office of Signium International, Gilson Coelho is a senior executive search consultant and has over 30 years of corporate professional background, holding top executive functions such as Marketing, Sales and General Administration.

His career was developed in the commercial area of domestic and international companies, such as Singer, Brastemp (Whirlpool), Gradiente, Climax and Black & Decker. In 1992, he established his own executive search firm with other partners, later on named VCA Ward Howell International, now Signium International.

Gilson has professional experience at international level, conducting top management recruitment for several different sectors. During the last years, his search activities were focused on Telecom, Information Technology and Energy areas.

A native Brazilian, graduated in Economics from Faculdades Integradas Estácio de Sá, Rio de Janeiro, with specialization in Marketing at Fundacáo Getúlio Vargas, he has also several extension courses covering Administration and Human Resources in Brazil and abroad.
