Geri joined Duke Computer Solutions in 2005 since she has been involved in preparing for several client business office openings, new office start ups, and more than a few network overhauls. She has implemented a cardboard & packaging material recycle-reuse-share program that has not only benefited our landfills but moving neighbors and box hunters of all sorts. All in house accounting functions including, payables, receivables, and inventory in addition to the payroll and associated responsibilities are managed by Geri. She also maintains vendor relations and coordinates all shipping, receiving and related tasks. Geri has built her career and experience mainly by working for small, family owned businesses where she has learned much by necessity. If it needs to be done she learns how then does it and keeps on doing it. Geri lives in Hazelton with her husband of 19 years and two teenage daughters. She is proud to be the one to ask if you need an ETA for an APC UPS, USB KVM and PDU, or a trouble ticket opened because you can not VPN. She is even more proud that she actually knows what that all means. The use of TLAs (three letter acronyms) in this business is way out of control. Someday Geri would like to WTL (win the lottery) LOL or visit New Zealand but for now, she is still diligently taking baby steps into the IT world of Microsoft Licensing and VOIP. This is a great place to be - doing what I do best (keeping a bunch of Geeks organized) where I learn something new every day, even if it is another TLA. Geri says she has a simple goal; To give DCS and our clients the very best in all aspects. |
