Gerard Wallace is President of Europe at Boston Scientific Corporation. Ged is responsible for all business units and commercial activities within the 20+ European countries where Boston Scientific conducts business.
Ged joined Boston Scientific after serving more than 27 years in the medical device industry with Baxter Healthcare, where he was most recently President of Baxter’s Asian, Chinese and Hong Kong operations. He has extensive experience as a general manager with a history of developing talented multi-cultural teams. In addition, Ged has held senior roles at Baxter in business development, sales and marketing across Asia Pacific. With each new position, Ged has maintained a strong focus on growth, profitability and leadership while managing change within a challenging international business environment.
Ged is originally from New Zealand, where he earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Otago University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University. |
