Gerald (Jerry) Pribanic, B.S., MBA, CMA Mr. Pribanic is the Acting CFO of Zestra Laboratories and a Partner in the South Carolina practice of Tatum LLC, which offers temporary and permanent CFO executive replacement services along with executive education, and leadership mentoring. This has led Mr. Pribanic, over 30 years, to develop rich, broad-based multi-industry experience, including Board-level leadership in Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, Automotive, Plastics, Chemicals, Textiles, and Banking and a four-year European expatriate assignment. His in-depth, in-the-trenches efforts led to his development of the Shareholder Value Creation initiative that employs a series of three interrelated processes used for customizing a company s ongoing value creation program. Mr. Pribanic s engagements with Tatum have had him serve as: Interim CFO for a $140 million publicly traded high tech systems provider that was experiencing financial restatement issues, re-staffing key financial positions, and other pressing operating concerns in cash constrained environment. Acting Chief Financial Officer for a $30 million specialty chemical manufacturer where he micro-managed cash and presided over a 6 month delayed financial statement catch up and the establishment of accurate and timely reporting and forecasting. VP Finance and IPO Project Leader reporting to the CEO and CFO for a mining company rollup and that led to a highly successful $650 million initial public offering. Before coming to Tatum, during 2002-2003, Mr. Pribanic was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Milliken and Company, an industry-leading textile and chemicals company manufacturing high-performance fabrics for aerospace, automotive and industrial applications. At Milliken, Mr. Pribanic was responsible for corporate and financial reporting, financial staff education and development, and oversight of credit decisions. He also was a member of the three person Office of the Chairman team overseeing all company activities. From 1996-2000, Mr. Pribanic was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Maytag Corporation, the home and commercial appliance company, where he was responsible for public reporting, treasury, tax, investor relations, strategic planning, business controls, internal audit, and financial performance oversight in a decentralized environment. At Maytag, he reduced the size of its corporate financial function, guided decisions to fund new home run product innovations, and executed three acquisitions, the creation of a Chinese JV and a 20% stock repurchase. During Mr. Pribanic s tenure, modest growth coupled with cost containment and asset redeployment led to a classic operating leverage profile over 16 quarters: sales up 39%, operating income up 99%, and net income up 125%. Prior, during 1990-1995, he served as the Vice President of Finance and Controller for Hoover Company, the vacuum cleaner icon, where he and the leadership team cut new product time by 50 percent, launched multiple new products, reduced salaried headcount by over 25 percent, while achieving growth of 35% and a 50% increase in operating margins. Mr. Pribanic received a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Pribanic is a Certified Management Accountant. |
