In early 1970, Gerald Perutz, and a group of investors founded Nimlok, LTD in London. At the time, Mr. Perutz was serving as CEO of Bell & Howell Limited, the eastern hemisphere headquarters of Bell & Howell, a multi-national conglomerate headquartered in Chicago.
In 1977, Mr. Perutz moved his family to Chicago to serve as Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for the parent company. While working for Bell & Howell, he continued his work with Nimlok and in 1981 he and his son Simon started Nimlok Company, as the US office of Nimlok LTD.
In 1983, Mr. Perutz retired from Bell & Howell to focus his attentions on building Nimlok Company and Nimlok LTD. Today, he serves as Chairman of both companies and continues to remain involved in all aspects of the business. |
