Dr. Gerald Curtis is Senior Director of Stonebridge and advises the firm's clients on matters related to Japan and Asia. Widely regarded by Japanese and foreigners alike as the world's preeminent expert on Japan, Dr. Curtis has served as advisor and consultant to numerous American and Japanese corporations and is a prolific author in both English and Japanese. His commentaries appear frequently in the world press and his writings have been translated into Chinese, Korean, Thai, and several European languages. Fluent in Japanese, he is in high demand as a speaker and as a commentator on Japanese television and in the Japanese press. Professor Curtis is the Burgess Professor of Political Science at Columbia University and concurrently Visiting Professor at Waseda University and Senior Research Fellow at the Tokyo Foundation.
