Gerry Essl, 58, was named Executive Vice President of Eagle Materials (formerly Centex Construction Products) in November 2002.
Mr. Essl has a total of 30 years' experience in the construction products industry. He joined Eagle Materials in 1975 as Lab Analyst at its Illinois Cement Company operation and has held various production positions throughout many of Eagle Materials' other cement subsidiaries. Mr. Essl subsequently became President at Texas Lehigh Cement Company in 1985.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Essl served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Essl received a B.S. in chemistry from Illinois State University. |
