Dr. Theofan was appointed to the position of Vice President, Clinical Development in January 2003. Dr. Theofan has been with us since November 1995, and has been in the biotechnology industry since 1988. Since joining us, Dr. Theofan has been responsible for managing the operations of clinical trials in HIV, as well as cancer and autoimmune disease. She has over 40 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is a co-inventor on nine patents. Dr. Theofan received a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from New York University. She also served as a post doctoral fellow at the University of Rochester in New York, and the University of California at both the Riverside and San Diego campuses. |
