George Hutchinson is a Managing Director in the Energy investment banking group. He joined FBR in 2003 to head the Houston Office.
Prior to FBR, he was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for TCW and Trust Company of the West. During his 14 year tenure as Head of TCW’s Houston Energy office, he raised and invested mezzanine capital and preferred equity capital spanning seven funds.
Prior to TCW, Mr. Hutchinson was the Senior Corporate Finance Officer for Huntington Bancshares in Columbus, Ohio where he was responsible for all M&A, LBO and acquisition activity. Prior to Huntington, he was an energy and international executive at National Westminster Bank USA in New York City.
Educated in Boston with a degree in Philosophy and Finance, Mr. Hutchinson is a Trustee of the John Cooper School, a leading independent school in the Houston area. |
