Mr. Boyadjieff has been a director of the Company since May 2006 and Senior Technical Advisor of the Company since April 2005. Mr. Boyadjieff is the retired CEO of the former Varco International a New York Stock Exchange traded oil service company with over $1.3 billion in annual revenues at the time of Mr. Boyadjieff’s retirement. Varco has recently merged with National Oil Well to become National Oil Well Varco (NOV). Mr. Boyadjieff joined Varco in 1969 as Chief Engineer and was appointed CEO in 1991. Currently Mr. Boyadjieff is the Chairman of the Board and interim CEO of Southwall Technologies a Silicon Valley hi-tech firm. Mr. Boyadjieff joined Southwall in December 2004 as chairman of the board.
Mr. Boyadjieff holds over 50 US patents related to oil and gas well drilling equipment.
Mr. Boyadjieff holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine executive program.
