Background:
Mr. Mrkonic served as Vice Chairman of Borders Group Inc. a retailer of books and music from December 1994 until his retirement in January 2002. He was President of Borders Group Inc. from December 1994 until January 1997. Prior to joining Borders Group Mr. Mrkonic held various positions at Kmart Corporation Herman’s Sporting Goods Inc. and W.R. Grace & Company
