George R. Lucore, serves as executive vice president of Field Operations at Erie Insurance Group, a regional property/casualty and life insurer based in Erie, Pa. He oversees the Agency and Claims Divisions, as well as the regional vice presidents.
Since joining Erie Insurance in 1972, George has worked in a variety of positions, including commercial field underwriter, district sales manager, branch sales manager, branch manager, regional vice president and division officer of the Agency Division.
George holds a bachelor’s degree in insurance from Pennsylvania State University. In addition, he has earned designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Management (AIM), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC), Associate in Automation Management (AAM) and Associate in Information Technology (AIT). George is a member of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters and the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Greater Erie County Chapter of the American Red Cross. |
