With more than 15 years of real estate experience, George B. Hutchinson serves corporate and public sector clients in services including portfolio management, site selection and tenant representation. Specific areas of expertise include strategic planning and management of significant real estate projects and corporate real estate portfolios, site selection and location analysis for major facility decisions, government incentive structuring and negotiations for the acquisition, disposition, lease, renewal or build-to-suit of corporate facilities. In addition to being a principal of Allegro Realty Advisors, Ltd., Mr. Hutchinson also serves as the firm's President and Chief Executive Officer.
\Prior to joining Allegro, Mr. Hutchinson was a Partner of Deloitte & Touche where he directed the Corporate Real Estate Practice for the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley Regions. Previously, he was the Partner in charge of Corporate Services at Cleveland Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by Deloitte in 1999. Additionally, Mr. Hutchinson accumulated deep experience in tenant representation with firms based in Cleveland and Orlando, Florida. Prior to entering the real estate field, Mr. Hutchinson owned and managed several successful small businesses and also spent five years with Digital Equipment Corporation, including establishing a new office in New Orleans.
Mr. Hutchinson has been honored twice as a recipient of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ (NAIOP) Deal of the Year Award (for both the office and industrial sectors) for the Cleveland chapter. He has published articles for magazines, such as Transportation and Distribution, and has spoken frequently at universities, such as the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, as well as professional association seminars, such as CoreNet Global and NAIOP. Mr. Hutchinson is actively involved with community and not-for-profit organizations serving on volunteer boards and assisting in fund raising. He also serves on the development committee for the Village of Valley View, Ohio.
Mr. Hutchinson earned his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Science from the University of Florida. He is a licensed real estate associate in Ohio and Florida. |
