Gazo is Founder, President and CEO of Arris. He provides the day-to-day leadership and strategic vision for all areas of the company. Gazo began his career eighteen years ago developing operating systems and device control firmware. This experience provided the basis for his expertise and understanding of true mission critical applications. Over the years, he saw the complexity of applications increasing and believed that significant engineering talent was going to be required to solve the new, emerging application needs. This belief led him to form Arris. His vision was to create a world-class engineering organization whose teams understood business and business drivers and had the deep technical knowledge required to solve complex problems. Since forming Arris, he has led the organization with his vision and passion to be a recognized leader and created a culture that attracts and retains the best engineering talent in the area. Before forming Arris, Gazo managed the distributed systems email gateway products and directory synchronization teams at Soft-Switch/Lotus Development Corporation. Prior to Soft-Switch, Gazo held lead and development positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Stratus Computer, and BTU Engineering. Gazo received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
