Gautham Sastri has been employed in the High Performance Computing arena since the early 1980s, and joined Rackable Systems through its acquisition of Terrascale Technologies. Prior to serving as Founder and CEO of Terrascale Technologies, Gautham was Founder, President and CEO of Maximum Throughput, Inc., a high performance NAS provider. Gautham began his HPC career developing highly optimized computational algorithms as well as I/O drivers for use in oil and gas exploration. While employed by the supercomputer division of NEC, he worked on the implementation and optimization of computational algorithms in fluid dynamics, weather forecasting and other simulation and modeling applications. Gautham has also worked on the development of high performance file systems and multitasking libraries for use with NEC supercomputer products. |
