Gary Pagar has over 25 years investment banking and senior operational experience with extensive domestic and international exposure to all aspects of corporate finance, M&A and business operations including over eighty acquisitions, divestures and financings of debt and equity as both advisor and principal. His industry expertise includes media & entertainment, consumer products and services, retail, healthcare and real estate. Mr. Pagar was previously a Managing Director at Westwood Capital, LLC, a New York investment bank. Before joining Westwood, he worked with Profile Media Group as a senior advisor negotiating production and distribution arrangements a producer of independent feature films and served as interim COO/CFO for an independent record label and national operator of live music venues where he developed and successfully implemented a turn-around plan for restructuring their debt, raising new equity and improving their operating results. Mr. Pagar was co-founder and Chairman of MedFirst Healthcare, from 1992 to 1998, where he partnered with Goldman Sachs’ principal investments arm to acquire healthcare services companies and oversaw that company’s growth from a startup to nearly $100 million in annual revenue. He also spent seven years as a Managing Director and General Partner of the Tribeca Group, a merchant bank, where he directed over $400 million in principal investments in the retail, apparel, aviation and entertainment sectors and served, for five years, as Chairman of Plymouth Lamston Corp, a Tribeca company with $140 million in annual revenue and over 250 stores in 28 states. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and Oppenheimer & Co. Business Organizations and awards Mr. Pagar was a long-time member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), an inaugural recipient of Crain’s New York Business Journal’s "40 Under 40" Award recognizing New York’s top young executives and was selected by INC.
