Gary has over 20 years experience in venture capital, investing, financial management, and public accounting. In addition to his role as Fund CFO, Gary is responsible for sourcing, researching, evaluating, structuring, negotiating, mentoring and exiting investments. Prior to co-founding Birchmere Ventures, Gary was a General Partner of CEO Venture Fund. He was previously Vice President at Westinghouse Credit in the Corporate Capital Division. Gary started his career at PriceWaterhouse were he authored a book on the topic of mergers and acquisitions. Gary is a director of ASA Corp., Precision Therapeutics, and Renal Solutions. Gary is also a former board member and past President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, President of Financial Executives International—Pittsburgh Chapter, and a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth. Gary received a B.S. from John Carroll University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. |
