Prior to joining Gateway in March 2004, he served as vice president, products at eMachines, where he also managed purchasing and operations functions. Previously, Elsasser spent nearly 14 years in a variety of increasingly important engineering, product development, sales and marketing roles at Toshiba America Information Systems. A former computer instructor for Sperry/Unisys, he got his start in the PC industry while still in high school, working as a product support specialist for Eagle Computers. |
