Gary L. Roberts, Vice President, is an expert in antitrust and regulatory economics. Dr. Roberts has recently returned to CRA from the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as Associate Director for Antitrust in the Bureau of Economics. In that position, he managed a staff of approximately 40 Ph.D. economists and supervised the economic analysis of all antitrust issues handled within the Bureau. He also participated in the development of key policy initiatives, including the 1997 revisions to the Horizontal Merger Guidelines and the 1996 Staff Report on Competition Policy in the New High-Tech Global Marketplace. At CRA, Dr. Roberts continues to assist clients with the broad range of economic issues involved in mergers and other competition-related matters. |
