Dr. Gary Paulson was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He completed his high school education in Glenwood, Minnesota and received his B.A. Degree at the University of Minnesota-Morris in 1978. Dr. Paulson then continued his education at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis, where he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1982. He spent six years of residency in general surgery at the Hennepin County Medical Center.
Dr. Paulson joined Alexandria Clinic, P.A. in 1988. He is a member of the Minnesota Medical Association, Fellow of American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Surgeons.
He and his wife, Dr. Susan Paulson, and their twin daughters, Andrea and Erika, reside in Alexandria. Dr. Paulson enjoys scuba diving, sailing and photography. |
