Garrett Dietz serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GEN3 Partners and its holdings. In this role, he leads the firm’s global innovation consulting and services businesses and has overall responsibility for all services provided to the firm’s clients, as well as advancing GEN3’s leading-edge methodologies and practices in the field of innovation. He brings strong business building, strategic and operational leadership skills, and versatile industry and functional experience to the firm. Prior to joining GEN3, Mr. Dietz served in a number of senior leadership roles for Towers Perrin, a $1.4 billion global professional services firm. These included serving on the six-person senior management committee that provided overall strategic and operational direction for the firm, as well as leading the North American Consulting business, and serving on the firm’s Board of Directors. Mr. Dietz also served in various practice and operational leadership capacities throughout his career. For Towers Perrin, in addition to the above, these included leading both the largest US regional operation and the New York office. He also served on the leadership team of Cresap, McCormick and Paget, a premier strategy & organization consulting firm, led major strategy and operational assignments for clients such as Exxon, Novartis, Starwood and Sony, and founded a number of the firm’s industry practices. Earlier, Mr. Dietz served as an engineer and Army officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Dietz earned his B.S. with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.S.C.E. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer and serves on the board at the Executive Forum, a premier senior executive organization. |
