Gary is the Firm's Director of Accounting and Auditing. In addition, he serves as Director of Quality. In these capacities, Gary is charged with keeping the Firm's clients and professional staff informed about significant accounting and auditing matters and about the impact of those developments in specific industries. He ensures that the work of the Firm is conducted in accordance with the Firm's quality control guidelines.
Some of Gary's recent projects include assistance to a local housing authority in the development of a not-for-profit which will provide housing to individuals of low and moderate incomes, assistance in the corporate restructuring of a large, local area real estate company in order to provide more meaningful financial reporting and to minimize income taxes and modification of the Firm's Quality Control Document to meet the needs of new accounting and auditing pronouncements.
Gary is a Certified Public Accountant with approximately 16 years experience in public accounting and an additional 6 years experience in senior managerial, fiscal, and administrative positions with the Hartford Housing Authority. He holds an M.B.A. from Renselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Economics and Accountancy from the College of the Holy Cross.
Gary has extensive experience in the real estate, low income housing tax credits, syndicated limited partnerships, local government, retail and wholesale industries.
Gary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is on the Board of Directors of the Franklin Housing Authority.
