Frederick S. Hammer - Fred Hammer formerly served as CEO of Mutual of America Capital Management Corporation and Meritor Financial Group, President of SEI Asset Management Group, and is a former Director of Visa International. Fred has been Co-Chairman of Inter-Atlantic Group since 1994 and is a member of the Fund's investment committee. From 2002 to 2003, he also served as Co-Chairman of Guggenheim Securities Holdings, LLC. Fred also was Executive Vice President of The Chase Manhattan Bank, where he was responsible for the bank's global consumer activities including the retail branch network and consumer lending and deposit businesses, Executive Vice President of Associates Corp. of North America, and Vice President of Bankers Trust Co. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Annuity and Life Re (Holdings), Ltd. In addition, he serves as a Director on the Boards of Tri-Arc Financial Services, Inc. and Magellan Insurance Company Ltd. Fred is a former Director of Medallion Financial Corporation, IKON Office Solutions, Inc., and National Media Corporation. He is also a trustee of the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club. Fred holds an AB degree in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Colgate University and received his MS and PhD degrees in Economics from Carnegie-Mellon University. He taught Finance and Banking at The Wharton School, The University of Indiana, and New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration. |
