Ric Slocum has over 30 years of professional experience in investment banking, finance and consulting. He has worked with SFCo since 2004 as a Managing Director and now Principal Advisor in areas that include raising capital, financial structuring, financial modeling, alternative financing methods, due diligence, recapitalizations, restructuring and the management of distressed companies.

Currently, Ric is also serving as a part time basis as the Interim CFO of a VoIP company. He is directing all of the company's financial activities as well as installing and strengthening operational and financial controls.

Prior to SFCo, Ric worked three years for a middle-market securities firm as Senior Managing Director of Corporate Finance & Consulting, where he marketed, originated and executed financing transactions.

Earlier, Ric spent seventeen years in two stints with JP Morgan Chase and its predecessors, eleven years with Bank One Corporation and First Chicago in various corporate finance and high yield roles and six years with Chase in global financial consulting and business unit Chief Financial Officer roles. He served as Managing Director, High Yield and Private Placement Origination, where he directed all international deal origination and the domestic origination for financial services industries. Earlier he was Managing Director/Co-Head of Capital Markets, Investment Grade Securities where he marketed to large corporations, financial services organizations and utilities and Vice President/Head of Loan Trading, Syndications & Placements. At Chase, Ric started as Second Vice President/Global Financial Consultant, Controller's Department and rose to Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of the $2 Billion Asset-Based Financial Services Group.

After Chase, Ric joined Kidder Peabody & Co. Inc., where he was Vice President/Shareholder, Investment Banking Group; Vice President/Senior New Business Officer, Financial Futures Group; Vice President/National Marketing Manager, Direct Investment Group; and Deputy Vice President of Finance, Finance Group where he shared global CFO responsibilities.

He began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Ernst rising to a Senior CPA and spent two years with Mellon Bank in financial management and policies before heading to New York City.

Ric holds a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in Finance and a MBA from St. John's University - New York in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant and maintains his Series 7 and 63 qualifications.
