Fred H. Samuelson has been a director of Thermodynetics since March, 2003. Mr. Samuelson holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut (1954), and he has pursued other advanced studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. During the early- to-mid 1970s, Mr. Samuelson was employed at United Technologies Corp., holding the position of marketing manager for electron beam and LASER systems. In 1976, as a result of the purchase of the electron beam welding business from United Technologies, Mr. Samuelson was recruited and became the President and CEO of Leybold Heraeus Vacuum Systems, Inc. Once that company was successfully established, Mr. Samuelson left Leybold Heraeus in 1982 to start his own firm, Samuelson Engineering Inc. Mr. Samuelson has been the recipient of scholastic honors and has served in leadership positions throughout his academic and industrial activities. |
