Fred Newton is a Senior Technical Consultant with Lockwood Greene and has more than 25 years experience in high-tech domestic and international manufacturing management, and the transition of new technology to the manufacturing industry. Mr. Newton’s experience includes strategic planning, new product process development, process translation from lab to manufacturing, application of manufacturing automation, facility modernization, automated materials handling, automated and robotic paint cells, and automated precision machining centers. He is proficient with safety and environmental controls for products and processes in the areas of aircraft and aerospace products, major appliance products, microelectronics, precision, electro-mechanical assemblies, battery assembly, and composite assembly. Mr. Newton holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science /Business Administration and Physics. Mr. Newton is a member of the Society of Robotic and Automation Engineers (SME) and is a certified Senior Manufacturing Robotics and Automation Engineer. Mr. Newton is also a certified Packaging Engineer and is ISTA Certified. |
