Mr. Slootman is currently President and Chief Executive Officer at Data Domain. Prior to that, from June 2000 to June 2003, Mr. Slootman joined Borland Software Corporation, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Products and spearheaded the company's transformation and leadership position as the premier provider of enterprise application life-cycle solutions. Before joining Borland, Slootman held key management positions for two enterprise software divisions at Compuware Corp. in the Midwest, Europe, and Northern California. Earlier in his career, Slootman led the sales support, product management, and marketing efforts at Burroughs Corp. and Comshare Inc. Slootman earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. |
