Mr. Johns consults with franchisors and their attorneys, providing information about federal and state compliance issues related to developing franchise programs. He also drafts franchise agreements and offering circulars in coordination with franchisors and their attorneys. Mr. Johns served as an Associate with Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP, and earlier as Assistant General Counsel to Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives Michael Madigan. He also worked with the law firms of Eimer Stahl Klevorn & Solberg, LLP, and Greenberg Traurig, LLP, as an Attorney Consultant. Mr. Johns completed his Jurist Doctorate program at the University of Illinois, College of Law, in Champaign and coursework for the Masters of Arts in Philosophy at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, focusing on Continental Philosophy. He holds a BA degree in Philosophy and Economics from the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh, in Plattsburgh, New York. |
