Frank Hawkins, Assistant Treasurer, is responsible for ensuring TransAlta has the financial capacity to meet its business objectives and that its financial exposures are effectively managed.
Mr. Hawkins joined TransAlta in 1998. Prior to this, Mr. Hawkins was at TransCanada PipeLines where he led the development and financing of domestic and international energy projects.
Mr. Hawkins has a bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary and a master of business administration from the University of Saskatchewan.
Mr. Hawkins is Chair of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement and was instrumental in establishing the Calgary Business Hall of Fame. He has been active in the National Advisory Council of AIESEC Canada and the Canada-China Business Council. |
