Hermance 55 was named a director of IDEX effective in January 2004. He currently serves as chairman of the board and chief executive officer at AMETEK Inc. a leading manufacturer of electronic instruments and electric motors. Before joining AMETEK in 1990 Hermance was general manager of Tektronix’s Waveform Measurement division. He also served as senior vice president of operations for Combustion Engineering’s Taylor Instrument Company a producer of process control instrumentation. |
