Frank Diassi, currently Managing General Partner for The Unicorn Group, has originated investments in over 39 entrepreneurial companies. His primary area of interest is in chemical and related industries. He was Chairman of the Board of Hawkeye Chemical Company and was a founding director of Arcadian Corporation, the largest nitrogen fertilizer company in North America. Mr. Diassi served as a Director and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Arcadian until 1994. Mr. Diassi is a former a Director of Mail-Well Corporation, and Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Chemical Mr. Diassi had major corporate experience with Conoco Oil Company for ten years where he held a senior Business Unit Management position in the petrochemicals area. Mr. Diassi received a BS Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. For a five-year period beginning in 1978, Mr. Diassi was an adjunct member of the faculty of Fordham University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Diassi currently serves as a Director of Fiberglass Holdings, and is Chairman of the Board of UnicornHRO.
