Frank G. Salpietro is a partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP. He is a member of the firm's Litigation Section, working primarily in the area of commercial litigation.Mr. Salpietro received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University in 1983. In 1986, he received his Juris Doctor degree and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While at law school, Mr. Salpietro served as Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He was selected as a member of the Order of the Coif (the National Law School Honor Society) and received the Benjamin Teplitz Memorial Award for attaining the highest-grade average in his final year at Pitt.Mr. Salpietro has represented a wide variety of clients, including several corporations, lending institutions, small businesses, insurance companies and individuals, and his practice has included the handling of complex litigation matters. Mr. Salpietro is a member of the Civil Litigation Sections for both the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He was recently appointed to Pennsylvania Bar Association's Gaming Law Committee. Mr. Salpietro has also participated in community projects such as "Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes," an Allegheny County Bar Association program that teaches the value of law to schoolchildren, and has lectured on a variety of subjects from consumer protection to intellectual property, computer and Internet law. |
