A graduate of DePauw University and the Indiana University School of Law, Mr. Hoffman concentrates his practice in real estate, health care and emerging businesses. As a former officer and in-house counsel for a NASD-SEC broker/dealer for five years and a tax consultant with an international 'Big Six' accounting firm for four years, Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience in security regulatory matters, corporate finance and general tax planning. His transaction experience includes (i) multiple real estate and business acquisitions, (ii) numerous private placement offerings including an expertise in the syndication of low-income housing tax credit projects, residential land developments, and nursing homes, and (iii) the formation of various integrated health care provider organizations. Mr. Hoffman also provides general business counsel to residential builders, various health care related businesses, and other emerging businesses.
