Frank A. Pinto, serves as a Strategic Advisor for Falls River Group, LLC. Frank retired from Sun Microsystems (NYSE: SUNW) in August 2000. He was Vice President of Computer Systems Worldwide Sales, responsible for all Sales, Systems Engineering and Field Marketing activities of an 8,000 person organization. His revenue responsibility was $15 Billion. Frank was also responsible for multiple channels of distribution including resellers, systems integrators and international distributors. During his tenure as head of sales in the Americans and then worldwide, Sun experienced its greatest growth rates since early 1980’s. Prior to joining Sun, Frank had been Vice President of Marketing at Encore Computer, a manufacturer of symmetric multiprocessing systems; a Sales Manager at the Keydata Corporation, a pioneer in on-line, real-time commercial time sharing systems; and a Marketing Representative for the IBM Service Bureau Corp. Frank obtained a BA in Economics from Iona College and has done graduate work in Economics at the University of Southern California under a National Science Foundation Fellowship. |
