Flite focuses his practice on business, corporate, commercial, construction and healthcare litigation. Additionally, he practices in the government relations area. Flite is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations. He is also a member of the City of Dublin Planning and Zoning Commission. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Dublin AM Rotary. He is an active member of the Mentoring and More @ Moritz Program at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he serves as a mentor for law students. While in law school, Flite served as an intern in Governor Bob Taft's Office of the Legislative Liaison. Before joining Calfee, Flite served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer of the Ohio Supreme Court. While at the court, Flite had the opportunity to work with Chief Justice Moyer on some of the most important cases in recent Ohio history. Prior to attending law school, he served as a Captain in the United States Army. While on active duty, Flite graduated from airborne, jumpmaster, air assault and Ranger school. He also had the privilege of serving with the 101st Airborne Division during a seven-month peace-keeping deployment to the Former Yugoslavia Province of Kosovo. Flite joined Calfee in 2007. |
